Stop Junk Faxes
Did you know that it’s illegal for marketers to send you a fax spam without your consent? According to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) if a company sends you a fax spam, then they are responsible to pay you $500 for each junk fax that they send you. This law is in place to protect consumers like you from incurring the costs of the junk fax telemarketers – after all, when the marketer sends you a spam fax, you are the one incurring the paper and ink charges in addition to the nuisance that it creates. There a few ways to deal with spam faxes. We believe the most effective way is to report the junk faxes to us by registering for free by filling out the form above. You can also report the junk fax to the FCC. This is not as effective though since the FCC receives about 200,000 telemarketing complaints per month and they just don't care.

The TCPA and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules generally prohibit most unsolicited junk facsimile (fax spam) advertisements. The TCPA states that an advertiser cannot send you unsolicited fax advertisements unless you have given the advertiser your prior express consent to receive fax advertisements or you have an established business relationship (EBR). Even if the advertiser has received your prior express consent or has EBR, they are also required to allow you to “opt out” of receiving their junk fax advertisements. The Junk Fax Prevention Act of 2005, directed the FCC to amend its rules adopted pursuant to the TCPA regarding fax advertising. The FCC’s revised rules:
